As a University of Tübingen spin-off, we use our scientific expertise to develop effective learning apps. We also regularly work with the Leibniz Institute for joint learning studies.
Questions & answers
Is access really free for special schools?
Yes, we offer all special schools and support centers free of charge with our vocabulary trainer with all premium features. It's best to get in touch with schulen@cabuu.deto order access. Please also send us a confirmation that you work at a special school.
Please note that vocabulary collections from school books must be purchased separately in the app.
How does the setup work?
You will receive access from us by email so that you can easily activate premium accounts from anywhere with an Internet connection. If you need assistance or have a question, we're here for you.
How can the vocabulary be transferred to the app?
- school books: Vocabulary collections can be purchased and downloaded in the bookshop within the app.
- Scan function: (legible) handwritten and printed lists can be transferred to the app via the mobile phone or tablet camera.
- Type in: When entering, the input help provides word and translation suggestions with language data from the Langenscheidt dictionary.
- sharing: Users can share lists with each other via links or QR codes.
- Download: Our download lists, with vocabulary collections for everyday use, are also interesting for beginners.
Which school books are available in the CABUU app?
In the CABUU app, you have access to the school book shop, where you can buy and download vocabulary lists from school books. The prices per textbook are between €3.49 and €7.99. You can see the price in the cabuu app directly in the textbook shop.
